Morgan and Joe

Joe and Morgan were a couple of high school classmates for me, so needless to say; shooting their wedding was a bit of a reunion! We had an absolute blast! It was the first wedding I have ever shot in the church I grew up in. We also had a chance to visit a beautiful family friend’s house on the lake. Finally, the reception was held two blocks from my parents house. It was great being back home in Bad Axe shooting a wedding with such an awesome couple, family, friends and long lost classmates. Congratulations again Morgan and Joe; and thanks for the opportunity!

New Toy

Hello all!

It’s been a busy few weeks for me as I have just now finished updating the website. I realize it doesn’t look much different, but believe me. The work is there!

For my clients I also just finished a great new client section that features online payments, contact information and more.

Spring is here which means wedding season is just around the corner. Excited!!!

Yeah, not too many updates on the blog these past few months. No need to worry though, I’ve been busy!

Along with a lot of behind-the-scenes projects, you will soon see an updated version of the website with many new features. It’s been a lot of work, but it’s also been very rewarding.

Finally a Blog I Like?

Well here it is… yet another Blog design. I’m thinking this one will stick though. I’ve been trying to create something that both fits in with the design of the rest of my portfolio and is also creative and unique. What ends up happening is that I spend some time working on a new design, only to get bored of it in a matter of days! Before long, I virtually hate it. The simply white look though may be simple enough not to get on my nerves though. What do you think?

Mother & Daughter

We were contacted by Amy about doing some portraits of her and her mother. The two are very close and her mother just celebrated her, well we will say a milestone birthday. I don’t know the last time I laughed so hard at a shoot. Both mother and daughter were a blast (even though they were a tad nervous!) which made our jobs so easy.

Apparently fall is “baby season.” We had a blast with seven-month old Jack. His perfectly styled hair and sharp blue eyes definitely made my job an easy one. Get ready for some more ‘awes.’
